Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Alfonzo the Cat needs a home

About Me:

Ayyy! I’m Alfonzo. But you can call me The Fonz. I’m about five years old, and I’m an orange tabby. Yeah, I know I’m a handsome guy. I even have stripes around my eyes that make it look like I’m wearing eyeliner.

I’m also very relaxed. Some might call me lazy. My favorite pastime is laying on the top level of my cat tree so I can view everything around me and pretend I’m king of the world. I’m not the most cuddly cat, but I do sometimes show affection to my human. When she goes to bed, I’ll put my paw on her leg. I’ll even sleep on the pillow next to her if she lets me. I also like to “sing” just to hear my own voice. I don’t understand why not everyone enjoys my songs. I’ve been practicing, you know. I sleep most of the time, but I do wake up for an obstacle course run two times per day because I’m secretly training to be the next American Ninja Warrior.

You do need to know that I have feline leukemia. This means I have a shortened lifespan, and if I’m going to live in a house with another cat, they need to also be feline leukemia positive because I don’t want to pass it on. (You can read this article to learn more about my condition: http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/Health_Information/brochure_felv.cfm) Please don’t let this scare you. Remember that I am soft and orange and beautiful!

Right now I live with another cat who is up for adoption. His name is Pepe Le Pew. He’s my best bud, and he also has feline leukemia. We love to snuggle and groom each other. And we would really like to find a forever home who is willing and able to adopt both of us! We’ll make good pals! Apply to meet me and Pepe today!

I tested positive for Feline Leukemia, and I won't be able to live with other cats unless they have Felv too. You can find more on Feline Leukemia here:
http://www.vet.cornell.edu/fhc/health_information/brochure_felv.cfm

I'm neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations, including rabies.

ADOPTION FEE:  Due to Alfonzo's Feline Leukemia postive status, he has a reduced adoption fee of $25 plus tax.
